+This incredible Victorian 18ct Yellow Gold Opal and Diamond brooch is, Circa 1880.
The brooch is adorned in a large 2ct natural Opal that shows a wonderful hue from within.
The lovely natural Opal is a kaleidoscope of rainbow colours shimmering and changing colours with the light. The Opal radiates a myriad of colours - blues, pinks, greens, turquoise and an inner orange.
The Opal is complimented by sparkling Diamonds.
Both ends of the brooch are finished with a 0.60ct Opal and a 0.08ct Diamond.
The Diamond total is a marvellous 1.80ct, and they are a superb cut, colour and clarity being SI 1 H colour and beautifully cushion cut into the 18ct Yellow Gold gallery.
Diamond is the hardest mineral on Earth and this combined with its exceptional lustre and brilliant fire has made it the most highly prized of all gems.
All set in 18ct Yellow Gold.
